Ruda works with a Dubai-based Group to build an “Entertainment City”.
As per the news reported on 12th March, the authority announced that the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) is collaborating with Dubai and the British-rooted Providence Group to build a state-of-the-art entertainment city in Lahore.

The Entertainment City will be located in an eye-catching area of Lahore, which will have the potential to preserve the city’s cultural heritage and boost tourism. Numerous community-organized meetings, events and exhibitions will be held at the project. Hosting cultural events along the riverbanks will promote the growth of ecotourism by blending city activities with cultural events.
Entertainment City is skillfully planned with a Utility zone, single-family marinas, single-family residences, an entertainment island and mixed-use islands, as per the shared by RUDA on its official Twitter account. For city residents and visitors, the commercial zone will provide all the necessary life facilities

The project is expected to significantly increase local economic activity, attract foreign investment and create jobs. In addition, RUDA recently participated in the Dubai International Real Estate Fair and signed more than seven memorandums of understanding (MoUs) for various development projects and foreign direct investment.
