PLRA Reported 2.6 Million Land Record Transactions in Fiscal Year 2022-23

vAccording to the latest reports, the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) officially reported that 2.6 million land record transactions were processed between July 1, 2022, and March 1, 2023. In addition, as per the resulted report the payment of $11 billion in local taxes and services costs to the government.

According to the report, approximately 180,000 people got computerized fard through land records from 232 land record centers, DMM, NADRA and banks. Moreover, the center also reported about 0.85M modifications and 0.4M verified via the registry.

It is important to mention that over 7000 banks and over 14,000 mutations have been inspected using mobile vans, during which 244 complaints have also been registered on the Prime Minister’s website against the PLRA. Also, the public got relief from the incredible surveillance and improved regulation.
