Alternate Route For Firdous Market Underpass Project | Master Plan
According to the traffic advisory plan, Firdous Market Chowk will remain closed due to the construction of the underpass. CTO Lahore said that road would remain closed from Center point to Jinnah flyover for all types of traffic.
- Traffic coming from Defense or Cavalry Ground to Gulberg can use Shami Road, Sherpao Bridge and Jail Road.
- However, traffic coming from Defence to Gulberg can also use Qainchi Bridge and Ferozpur road via Walton Road.
- In addition, traffic coming from Kalma Chowk & Barkat Market toward Cavalry Ground and Defence can use Sherpao Bridge via Main Boulevard Gulberg.
In short, after construction this underpass a lot of traffic load will reduce for Jinnah Flyover, Cavalry Ground and Defence.
