DHA Gujranwala is working efficiently to plan and execute site work by completing developments for the Main Entrance, Site Office, Main Road, and Main Boulevard in 2020, despite the Covid-19 outbreak halted globally. The speed of development of DHA Gujranwala accelerated as the world learned to adapt to this new normal operation and at the same time resumed resumption work. After that, the whole plan was devised with priorities in mind to continue the intensive development. The development plans for 2021 are as follows:
Green DHA
DHA Gujranwala planned to offer a lush green environment. A gardening site has been created for farms in the area. In addition, the aesthetic layout of the green belt has spread with street lighting systems powered by solar energy to illuminate and decorate the surroundings. The spread of horticulture and greenery is giving a new look to all housing societies, so it is working effectively with other developments.
Wide road network
DHA Gujranwala is a top-notch project located on the main GT Road. It has a signal-free corridor with three entrances to the society. Significant work has been done to meet the requirements of modern road network systems, and there are 200 feet wide boulevard for convenient movement. The road network includes service lanes, green areas, roads, and sidewalks for both the residential and commercial sectors. Construction is already underway and is scheduled for another phase in 2021.
Commercial sector
There are commercial areas on both sides of the DHA Gujranwala entrance, adjacent to the Main GT Road. Moreover, Development is under process and running here. The commercial area consists of 4 Marla, 8 Marla and 1 Kanal plots, with ample parking facilities near the shopping area. This will improve the outlook of overall DHA.
Residential sector
The residential sector, consisting of 5 Marla, 8 Marla, 10 Marla, and 1 & 2 Kanal pots, In addition, is connected to the main GT road with independent entrances via a 150-foot-wide six-lane main boulevard and sub-entrances. This includes a commercial area with 4 Marla and 8 Marla commercial plots and 2 Marla sector shops for the convenience of DHA residents. The sector has all of its facilities, such as electricity, gas, sewer systems, mosques, parks, and 100,000-gallon water tanks. The development work here is being done by NLC. In addition to this, two new residential sectors are being planned for members.
Water system
DHA Gujranwala’s water supply system and two 100,000 gallon overhead water tanks for the commercial and residential sectors are being built in earnest. This is expected to be completed in the first half of 2021.
Sector mosque
DHA pays special attention to the religious harmony and close ties of the community where the sector mosque will be developed in six Kanal’s area with the main prayer hall and open courtyards. Construction of a sector mosque is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2021.
Underground electricity
Underground electrification in this sector is an important priority for DHA Gujranwala, so the design has been submitted to GEPCO for in-depth criticism and technical inspection. The signing of the MOU is currently in progress, and work is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2021.
DHA grid station
DHA is building its own 220KV and 132KV grid stations in the commercial sector to ensure a smooth power supply. Construction is scheduled to begin work in the second half of 2021 after GEPCO has received design approval.
DHA Apartments
A luxury apartment will also plan to launch in this area. Modern and elite apartments with 3 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms with recreation area, jogging and cycling track, bamboo garden, balcony with terrace, roof garden, indoor and penthouse restaurant, spacious residential and guest parking. It is planned to be developed to provide convenience and magnificent life. The apartment area will be built on 134 Kanals lands with a mosque nearby, along with a sports center, community club and commercial district DHA Galleria (shops, market areas, atriums). Design and map planning for apartments have begun.
DHA Villas
Plans for DHA villas are under formation and these Villas will consist of 5, 6 and 10 Marlas. These will be examples of luxury living redefined with biometric entrances, solar power, online electricity and gas control, digital billing services, plug and play (TV and Internet), electronic security cameras and smoke detectors. These will available to all members of DHA Gujranwala.
Park
it is planned to start building a park in order to make a lush green society. The park will include plantations, jogging trails, swings, etc. for the overall aesthetic layout.
Balloting
Location balloting for commercial and residential areas will be conducted this year.
Land acquisition
Land acquisition is an ongoing process. DHA Gujranwala aims to acquire land at a rapid pace so that development can be carried out in a decent manner.
Launch of ARY Laguna
As our members know that Ary Laguna Gujranwala MOU has already been signed between DHA Gujranwala and ARY. It will be officially launched later this year. Membership forms and applications will be available for the general public.
