According to the latest news, Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 was passed by Commissioner Lahore Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Usman to begin the land acquisition for the LDA City Chenab Road project. The project will take over 388 Kanals and 16 Marlas from Mouza Thay Panju in the Lahore region.

As per the shared details, it has been agreed to extend Chenab Road to 200 feet within a year at a cost of PKR 670 million. Additionally, the Jinnah Sector will have a direct link with Ferozepur Road near Lahore Ring Road once the project is complete.
