According to news sources, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to hold a third ballot/draw of LDA City files on September 4, 2021, to allocate plot numbers to file owners. Authorities have decided to include only file holders who have obtained an LDA exemption letter.
In addition, buyers who have not yet received an exemption letter from the LDA City Lahore Transfer Office Main Office must get the letter before the third balloting. In this regard, the administration has announced a deadline of August 28, 2021, for submitting applications for the issuance of an LDA exemption letter.
LDA also requested that file holders contact their development partners or property owners to obtain a letter from the authorities. Authorities have also warned that anyone interested in purchasing plot files for an LDA project should check their eligibility documents to ensure legality prior to purchase
