LDA Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar visited 'LDA City', the authority’s flagship housing project, to review the plan's development work and land acquisition issues, news sources reported. During the visit, Ahmad Aziz said that more than 80% of the land has been acquired for the LDA City Jinnah Sector.
The Director-General Ahmed Aziz also said the LDA is contacting landowners to obtain more property for the LDA City.
He also directed the authorities and relevant departments to speed up the development activities of the society, including the creation of a green belt, using all available resources. He also said that the supply of electricity, gas and other utility services should be completed within two months.
He also instructed the authorities to complete the remaining land acquisition work of the society as soon as possible. Installation of electricity, gas and other utility services takes two months. Mr. Tarrar said all LDA City Lahore file holders will hand over possession of the plot by next year. On this occasion, Senior Engineer LDA Mazhar Hussain Khan updated about the project's ongoing development activities.
