As per the media reports, the Punjab government approved a signal-free corridor linking the DHA Lahore (Defense Housing Authority) with Gulberg on Wednesday (22nd December) to improve traffic flow.
As per the information, the LDA ( Lahore Development Authority ) has plans to develop a signal-free road from Center Point to Gulberg to Defense Mor. Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has approved the project.

More information was disclosed, including Ghora Chowk Cavalry's one-way flyover and Khalid Butt Chowk's underpass development. A four-lane double highway with a two-way underpass will also be built at Khalid Butt Chowk. From the cavalry ground to the defensive turn, a three-lane single-side flyover will be built at Ghora Chowk.
As per the information, PKR 800 million will be used for the new U-turn at Center Point and the reconstruction of Walton Road and Defense Mor. CM Buzdar has directed it to be included in the Annual Development Program (ADP) of the Standing Finance Committee. The project budget has been set by the committee at PKR 2.8 billion.
