The Pakistani Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) reported that 3,383 new real estate and construction companies have recorded with the government in the current fiscal year, according to a news report released on January 14.
This figure was found to be 32% higher than the one registered in 2019. SECP officially registered 2,560 and 2,022 real estate/construction companies in 2019 and 2018.
According to sources related to a sound increase in registration of construction packages announced last year by the government that has spurred the growth of the low-risk industry.
