The prime minister also witnessed the signing of two MOUs with China to carry out development projects, including an implementation agreement to install a 1.2 MGD desalination plant, to address the shortage of drinking water for Gwadar residents. Other contracts included China's agreement for solar power generators for southern Balochistan and groundbreaking for North Gwadar Free Zone and Enterprises.
Balochistan's Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan said local governments are working with CPEC authorities to address the customer issues. He noted that issues related to the relocation of local residents along Eastbay and that efforts are underway to find a friendly solution.
It can be mentioned here that the factories opened at this time included a chemical fertilizer plant, a Gwadar animal vaccination plant, a lubricant factory, and a Gwadar tissue plant Laboratory.
