As per the latest sources, the LDA (Lahore Development Authority) has published a list of pre-qualified companies for the Sagian Road project. As per the announcement, seven companies have been qualified for a PKR 3.4 billion development project to alleviate the city's traffic jams problem.

As per the report, LDA chief engineer Mazhar Hussain Khan has issued a letter to the qualified company and a bidding process will follow. Habib Construction Services, Khalid Roof Company, Saadulah Khan Brothers, KNK Private Limited, National Logistics Company (NLC), Sultan Mahmood & Co, and Zoriz Engineering Company are qualified companies for initiatives in this process.
It is important to mention, that the Sagian Road reconstruction project is part of the Punjab government's multi-billion rupee road infrastructure development project for the provincial capital. As per Project Concept-1 (PC-1), a road will be built from Sagian Road to Phol Mandi Chowk, Faizpur Interchange. This route is one of the busiest routes in the city, with regular base travels and traffic jams in and out of the city.
