As per the news, the government has reached a long-awaited decision about the jurisdiction between the Rural Development Administration and the district council. All residential community NOCs must be provided by the district council Rawalpindi in accordance with the Local Government Ordinance 2021 approved by the Governor of Punjab on 11 December 2021.

Meanwhile, Blue World City Islamabad received NOC letter No# 532 / 10/ DC from the district council on July 8, 2018. With the enactment of the Local Government Ordinance 2021, the process is now complete.
