The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has agreed to formally end the provisions of the Certificate of Inheritance for the transition of property to legal heirs of the deceased. News source announced.

In addition, this transfer is expected to significantly save residents' time and resources.

Relevant LDA officials spoke about the development, claiming that a decision was made to facilitate land transfers to residents and reduce the time it takes for property transfers.

In accordance with the revised rules, LDA recognizes and approves the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) provided by NADRA for the transfer of property to the deceased's legitimate heirs.

It takes much longer to obtain a succession license and is issued by the court until due diligence takes place.

LDA officials hoped that with a quarterly notice of the execution of this decision, the property would now be registered and disclosed in the shortest possible time.
