The Punjab government has approved the conversion of all new universities, colleges and hospitals to solar power to save energy, news sources reported. The approval was approved by Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Punjab. According to the details, transferring these institutions to solar energy can save 45%.
At the same meeting, Buzdar was also approved for several development plans across the state. The meeting was attended by Industry Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal, Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht, P&D Chairman and Minister of Finance, Housing, Local Government and many other departments.
These development plans include the construction of a DHQ hospital in Hafizabad at a cost of 8 billion PKR, Upgrades THQ hospital in Khusab, Kharian, Minchinabad and Jaranwala at a cost of 250 million PKR, 190 million PKR, 370 million PKR and 400 million PKR are included each.
