As per the latest news, the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has decided to normalize the housing plan with 500 units or other buildings already completed in the Purple Zone of Phase 1 of the RRUDP ( Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project).

It is notable that Ravi City's Phase 1 project is divided into three zones: Brown Zone, Green Zone and Purple Zone. Anyone in the Brown Zone can build their infrastructure according to RUDA's specifications, requirements and standards. Forestry and agricultural activities are prohibited in the Green Zone. The Purple Zone is designated for the world-class development or housing complexes in which 1,700 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) reside. According to the CEO, all development in the zone will be regulated.

As per the statement of RUDA's CEO, Imran Amin society Plans located on riverbeds or floodplains will be relocated. He also said that the project would include Media City, where media companies can open new offices in the RRUDP area.
